Something really amazing about the region where I live, Caceres, is the number of big birds that you come across. Even today, when I was crossing the main square of Caceres, arriving in ARTsolutely to work, a couple of red kites flew over my head, unhurriedly.

This weekend I was with the kids in the countryside again when, amongst other big birds, 6 black vultures (the bird with the longest wingspan in Europe, up to 2.9 meters long), flew above us.

I could not take any great photo in any of the previous occasions, however I share some images of another weekend (griffon vultures, up to 2.65 m wingspan).
