Last week we received a printing order that was unique in two aspects. The first, the deadline: 14 large format photos (up to 1.1×1.7 meters), received at 5 pm to be delivered the next day at 2 pm, using three different rolls (three types of paper, made by Canson Infinity). The second: they were for a workshop given by the consecrated and extraordinary Isabel Muñoz, organized by the Fundación Caja Extremadura, developed and to be exhibited in the Roman Museum of Mérida.

This exciting event could have ended in a resounding failure but thanks to our experience and some luck it went quite well.

In the management of the workshop have been involved the recognized cultural managers Rosina Baeza and Lucía Ybarra (Rosina has directed ARCO for 20 years).

The photographs taken during the workshop highlight this space. Thirteen students from very diverse backgrounds have participated, including several authors from Extremadura, such as Tete Alejandre, a regular client of ARTsolutely, who has made a sublime photograph for the workshop. Isabel Muñoz’s photograph is simply spectacular, as there are many other excellent ones.

Isabel visited the gallery the same Thursday to review the prints and it was very nice to meet her, she is a very demanding woman and at the same lovely.

In the end, we received thanks from Isabel, Rosina, and other people involved, with which we could not be happier and more satisfied.

This workshop is an initiative of the Fundación Caja Extremadura, and the exhibition can be visited until June 23rd.
